A structure that cross-reinterprets American denim archives from the 1930s and 1960s.
The curved pocket flaps and gently shaped V-yoke are based on the construction of 1930s denim jackets, while the vertical panels running down the front reflect the panel structure of 1960s third-generation denim jackets. By contrasting the upper and lower structures, details from different eras are reconstructed within a single jacket.
Instead of traditional tack buttons used on classic denim jackets, cap snap components are applied for a more refined impression. The custom-developed cap snaps maintain a sophisticated look even when opened.
Action pleats ensure mobility, and side welt pockets add practicality. The design balances structural detailing with everyday functionality.
