The silhouette is designed with comfort at its core, allowing for effortless wear without restriction. Based on a semi-oversized fit, the shoulder line is precisely balanced so it appears neither overly structured nor excessively dropped.
The hem is constructed with a segmented panel structure that excludes rear banding, ensuring the lower silhouette remains composed even when the zipper is left open. The chest yoke functions beyond a visual element, distributing the natural contraction and tension inherent to leather so that stress does not concentrate in a single area.
The body features boldly proportioned slanted welt pockets, positioned to create a distinct focal point within an otherwise restrained composition.
Distress (Cloudy) Article is an Article born in 1970 inspired by leather that is discolored through a long period of time.
Noir Larmes collaborates with the Italian tannery DEGI PELLAMI to produce this article using vegetable tanning, an eco-friendly process based on natural raw materials. Unlike typical distressed leather that is chrome-tanned with chemical dyes, the Italy Vegetable-Tanned Distressed Métis Leather (Full Grain) offers superior quality with a more authentic and vintage appearance.
To achieve this effect, the crust leather is first dyed with a base color through its natural tone or ground dyeing. Then, a light dye is sprayed irregularly onto the surface. By adjusting the dye concentration to be lighter and increasing the spray speed, the untouched grain layer reveals the base color underneath, creating a unique two-tone look.
Made from full grain vegetable-tanned Métis leather, this piece offers the durability and rich touch of a sturdy ALTO-type leather with a substantial thickness and supple hand feel.
About Métis leather,
It is a hybrid of goat and lamb, and has the characteristics of goat skin’s unique durability, surface hairiness, backbone (vertebral marks), fold marks, and the shape and softness of lamb skin at the same time.
