NOIR LARMES has partnered with an Italian tannery DEGI PELLAMI producing a Distress effect using vegetable tanning based method with eco-friendly materials, Distressed Full Grain Vegetable Lambskin (Metis) article that has very high quality and far more natural vintage effect compared to Distressed Lambskin (Metis) which uses chrome (chemical dye) type tannin.
This effect is created through the process of irregularly spraying light dye on the surface of the leather after applying the base color through the crust’s own color or ground dyeing, adjust the density of the dye, by increasing the speed of spraying the non-sprayed hidden surface can be presented from the reflecting color of the ground as is, creating a two-tone color effect.
Using Full Grain Premium vegetable lamb skin, vegetable (tannin type) is a very traditional way using vegetable dye with tanned with hand using eco-friendly materials producing results of bold thickness, solidity, moist touch, and strong durability, most of all it ages beautifully boasting each layers of natural leather.

It is a hybrid of goat and lamb, and has the characteristics of goat skin’s unique durability, surface hairiness, backbone (vertebral marks), fold marks, and the shape and softness of lamb skin at the same time.
